Terms and conditions

1. General Terms

These terms apply to services of Aurora Hunting (All About Lapland Ltd), purchased by the person paying for the services (Client).
The tour is performed by the Aurora Hunting team in English, if not otherwise stated or agreed.

2. Booking & Payments

By completing the payment, you agree to these terms and conditions, as well as the cancellation & refund policy. The tour booking is confirmed after it is payed in full. Prices include VAT 25,5%, according to the taxation laws of Finland.

3. Tour Departures

The tour departure time is flexible, depending on the weather & aurora conditions. Departure is usually between 14.30–20.00. Exact departure time is communicated with the Client by Whatsapp.

4. Cancellation Policy & Refunds


If initiated by the Client:

  • 30 calendar days or more before the tour date – 100% refund
  • 15 calendar days or more before the tour date – 50% refund
  • less than 15 days – 0% refund
  • If the client is “no show” or late for agreed pickup address by 10 mintues – 0% refund

If initiated by Aurora Hunting:

  • Tour cancelled / clear skies not found during the tour – 100% refund
  • Clear skies found, but aurora activity not visible with naked eyes – 50% refund

If Aurora is seen with naked eyes (regardless of duration and size) – the tour is considered a success, and refund is not available (full or partial).  Aurora Hunting reservers the right to cancel the tour at any moment after the booking was made. Cancellation is communicated by Whatsapp.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days by our payment service provider. Refunds can only be sent back to the original payment method.

5. Liability

Aurora Hunting (All About Lapland Ltd) is not liable for any accidental damage or injury which has to be indemnified under the travel insurance of a customer. Program services can be physically demanding (such as walking in the deep snow), and the participants may be exposed to physical strain or cold weather, as well as sitting in the van for a prolonged period of time. In case of illnesses or disabilities (including but not limited to heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, back or hip problems, sensitivity to smell, dementia, nausea, stomach or inner organ problems etc.) that could affect your ability to take part in the programs, or in case of pregnancy, you should consult medical experts prior to participating in the programs. By taking part in the programs you understand and accept the risks.

6. Liability insurance

Aurora Hunting (All About Lapland Ltd) has a general third party liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage according to the terms and conditions of insurance company “OP Vakuutus”.

7. Force Majeure

Aurora Hunting (All About Lapland Ltd) shall not be held liable for any default, damage or loss due to a condition of force majeure or due to a similar cause (including but not limited to air space restrictions, terrorism, pandemic or outbreak of a disease, war, strike, extreme weather, other natural condition etc.).

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Finnish Law. The Finnish Courts shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy or claim. First instance shall be The District Court of Lapland – Lapin Käräjäoikeus in Rovaniemi, Finland.

9. Severability

If any part, term or provision of these terms and conditions is partly or wholly held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of other provisions, extent part and remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Changes to these terms & conditions

These terms and conditions can be changed at any time without further notice by Aurora Hunting (All About Lapland Ltd). Changes will not apply to bookings placed prior to changes to these terms & reservations.
